Glass Block: Yay or Nay?

Walls are good. They are places to put stuff. They give you privacy.
Windows are good, they let in light. They connect you to the outside.
Glass block. It's the best of both worlds, right? Well...

The biggest challenge our design team had in these small bathrooms was how to deal with glass block walls that let light in from an atrium but didn't leave any room for "stuff".
In the guest bath, we installed two frosted glass fixed panels which left room for a medicine cabinet and electrical. A tub became a shower.
In the master we expanded into an adjacent bedroom and put in one frosted panel.
