Built in 2009, this condo building in Northern Liberties featured mostly builder grade finishes. Our clients were downsizing from a large suburban home to be near family, and wanted to transform this unit into their forever home. First, our design team tackled the space planning. There were several awkward spaces that needed to be reconfigured, and we were able to enlarge the kitchen, laundry and master bath all while improving the overall flow of the unit. Next came finishes. Our clients were adventurous in this regard and we created some truly unique spaces, that nevertheless have a universal appeal because of the simple palette and clean lines. The kitchen was designed so that there is a place for everything, and nothing has to be in view of the living and dining room. An appliance garage, pantry and built-in bread box among other features make this a dream kitchen to use, in addition to how good it looks. The bathrooms are bright and light, and feature smart floating storage to maintain an open feeling.
