Renovation completed over 12 years featured in Inquirer

Floor by floor, we renovated this awesome Queen Village home from the top down over 12 years. The Inquirer featured the project for the Haven column in the Real Estate section. It will be in print this weekend but you can read it online now here

Every remodel we do presents some challenges, but this lovely little rowhome took some creative thinking to get right. It is not quite a trinity, but space is at a premium. This is the only project where we removed a powder room because it made more sense for the house. Converting the HVAC to mini-split heat pumps allowed us to regain space previously used for duct work and equipment. We reconfigured the stairs to the lower level, using salvaged wood. Where we could, we restored the original character of the home, and where we had to bring in new materials we did so in keeping with the house and our clients’ individual style.
