Urban Oasis

Goal: Transform an uninviting concrete patio into a semi-private outdoor oasis.

Our clients hired architect Paul Drzal to envision a side yard with built-in planters and benches that had a strong modern asthetic to compliment the stone former rectory that is their home. The result is a refuge that is just private enough, but still feels connected to the street.

This year the ability to be outdoors, a part of the neighborhood, but still socially distant made this project that much more impactful. Our clients told us that people often walk by and comment on the striking design, not realizing they are sitting on the other side of the fence. So they've gotten a lot of honest feedback. All positive so far. We hope you like it as well.
